Memories

Nephew Leonard remembers his Uncle Sam always chewed tobacco and always had a spitoon sitting by his chair. He also remembers his Uncle coming out to Uncle Abe's berry patch and getting him. He found that he was egging on one of James'es friends to fight him. He said his Uncle was tickled to death that Leonard won the fight and the other boy went home. He told Leonard that even though the other boy outweighed him by at least 20 pounds, he was sure Leonard was going to whip him.
