Benjamin Franklin Luttrell

Benjamin was born May 16, 1890 in Arkansas. He was know as Uncle Frank to his family.

His parents were James Posten Luttrell and Ava Jane Maberry. He was the fifth child of ten.

Frank served in the army during World War I. He was a private in Company D, 1 Machine Gun BN.

Frank married Verda Mildred Brenner.

Frank died December 13, 1960 in St. Helens, Oregon at the age of 70 years, 6 months, 27 days. He is buried in Forest View Cemetery in Forest Grove, Oregon.

Memories

Nephew Leonard remembers Uncle Frank had leukemia for a long time. He remembers him not being very active and sitting around a lot.

Niece Marjorie remembers Uncle Frank had a chicken farm in the Gaston/Springhill area. She thinks her father William Marr may have helped him get started raising chickens. Verda's mother lived with them.
