Brother Leonard remembers visiting his sister while she was in college. She was a great sister. She would go out of her way to help if she could. He remembers that Lavinia had a pet pig when the family lived in Noti when she was about 12. She bottle raised the pig. The pig would root under the barn yard fence and get into the yard. When it got out it would go into the house if a door was open. Her father said, "The pig has got to go." The pig was butchered because it went under every fence and got into the house one too many times.
